Mold Diagnostic and Lifecycle Engineer
As a Mold Diagnostic and Lifecycle Engineer, you will lead non-invasive inspections of industrial molds using 3D scanners, thermal imaging, and CMMs. You will create digital twins to analyze wear patterns, thermal performance, and stress distribution. Using predictive maintenance software and FEA tools, you will generate detailed Mold Lifecycle Reports with actionable recommendations. You will collaborate with CNC, repair, and client production teams, update Mold Health Protocols, and support process optimization.
Requirements:
Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree, experience with diagnostic tools and FEA, strong analytical skills.
Mold Repair and Micro-Welding Technician
The Mold Repair and Micro-Welding Technician performs precision repairs on production molds using CNC machining and laser micro-welding. You will restore cores, cavities, parting lines, and shut-offs while maintaining or exceeding OEM specifications. Using diagnostics data, 3D scans, and digital twins, you will select optimal repair strategies, document all actions in the Mold Health Protocol system, and collaborate with engineering and field service teams.
Requirements:
Technical diploma in machining or welding, experience with CNC and micro-welding, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.
Preventive Maintenance and Field Service Technician
As a Preventive Maintenance and Field Service Technician, you will perform on-site mold inspections and preventive servicing. Tasks include thermal regulation checks, ejection system calibration, mechanical alignment, and cleaning per client Mold Health Protocols. You will use infrared thermometers, ultrasonic flow meters, and digital calipers, log service activity in real time, and coordinate with diagnostics and repair teams to address early-stage wear. Requirements:
Technical diploma or equivalent experience, familiarity with diagnostic tools and maintenance protocols, strong troubleshooting and client-facing skills.
Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist
The QA Specialist ensures all mold diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance comply with ISO 9001, CSA, and OEM standards. You will develop QA protocols, perform in-process and final inspections using precision tools, and generate detailed Quality Compliance Reports. Working closely with diagnostics, repair, and CNC teams, you will identify quality risks, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Engineering or QA background, knowledge of ISO and CSA standards, detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Mold Systems Technical Trainer
As a Mold Systems Technical Trainer, you will develop and deliver technical training programs for internal staff and SME clients. Programs cover mold construction, failure modes, diagnostics, micro-welding safety, and preventive maintenance. You will integrate real-world service data into training modules, track certifications, assess learning outcomes, and align all instruction with ISO and CSA standards. Collaboration with engineering, maintenance, and repair teams ensures training reflects current technologies.
